We met in Frankfurt, so we would travel and arrive together in Hurghada to ease the local coordination. The passport control went smoothly. Soon after that, we flocked with the other tourists to the waiting bus, which would bring us to our hotel. Since I usually don’t book package holidays, this was a nice extra. But would we meet cringe-worthy German tourists?
We entered the pompous entrance hall of the hotel through a somewhat pointless metal detector. The bleeping was just nodded off, and we were waved through without any further checks.
Maybe they were just counting how many people use that door per day? 😂
