Introducing "Big Red"
There are better times for travel bloggers than a global pandemic with various lockdowns, that force you to stay put in one place. Fortunately, the situation in Switzerland has improved quite a bit, and life has returned to some degree to normality.
We used the time at home to convert a 2003 Mercedes Sprinter bus into our new home on wheels, have a look at the video below! Martin impressively did the whole interior by himself. My main task was to polish her again and again until she shone like in her younger days.
After only eight weeks of blood, sweat and tears, we were ready to go, and our first tour could begin.
Our plan was to nomad around and discover new places in Switzerland and see which campsites we like more than others. Luckily, we had reserved at campsites in advance, as this summer camping seems to be the number one holiday choice here in Switzerland, as travelling was still limited.
